The 2014 edition of the Karoo Mighty Men Conference (KMMC) was held in Middelburgh, Eastern Cape, South Africa in April. Thousands of men from all over the nation gathered to seek God. “We had God encountering moments and many radical conversions. I’m thankful to be part of this amazing event,” says one of the organizers, Retief Burger. A former South African policeman was convicted by God of racism during a talk by (black) speaker Africa Mhlophe. “God had been preparing my heart as I had been praying about my feelings about black people,” he said. “God, through Afrika, showed me that I needed to deal with my attitude in a tangible way. So in Godly humility and with tears rolling down my face, I asked Afrika to forgive me. With great compassion, he freely did. I have been set free and now I know there is HOPE.”
