The first French March for Jesus took place in Paris in 1991, as a testimony to the whole nation. Subsequently events were organised in Strasbourg (since 2000), Bordeaux (since 2005), Nantes
(since 2008) and Lille (since 2008), and occasionally in Toulouse, Marseille, Belfort, Nice, and other cities. This year French evangelicals are planning simultaneous Marches for Jesus, on May 30th, in Paris, Lille, Nantes, Strasbourg, Bordeaux and Montpellier. This will be a wonderful opportunity to proclaim Jesus in a show of unity among evangelical Christians in France. Organisers say: “With the March for Jesus, we are going to meet our fellow citizens… an audience of several thousand to hundreds of thousands of people we can touch in France.”
