Dear Friends
We’ve been running at full pelt over this last week, with Glen away speaking at Monkton Combe School in Bath as well as speaking at All Saints Crowborough’s One Life mission weekend. Events included gin tasting alongside a live jazz band, inflatable fun with an ex-Gladiator (on my first whistle!…) and a gig from singer/songwriter Tom McConnell. Not to mention preaching at all the morning services.
We’ve released a response to a Pro-Choice abortion advert, and Glen made further comment on it during his weekly monologue. Our weekly LIVEcast fell foul of some technical issues at Facebook’s end but we still managed to go live on Youtube, touching on issues such as abortion, Brexit and the argument for God from beauty.
Glen has also recorded one of our termly updates on the work of Speak Life.
In case you missed any of that, we’ve collected all of these resources for you right here!

LIVEcast 23rd November 2018: Paul and Glen discuss what’s new with Speak Life and what’s news in the world.
Coming Up For Speak Life
We’d value your prayers for these upcoming projects and engagements:
- Please pray for our new Christmas outreach: On Earth As In Heaven:
- Last year, across 5 videos released at Christmas, we reached a million viewers. This Christmas we’re reaching out again online with two videos. The first is an exciting 90 second mini-film based on the words of astronaut James Irwin: “God walking on the earth is more important than man walking on the moon.” Our second release will be a mini-documentary exploring the connections between man’s reaching for the heavens and God’s reaching of earth. Please pray that the films would be seen and shared widely.
- 23rd November – Glen speaking at Southampton University Christian Union
- 24-25th November – Glen speaking at churches in Stevenage this weekend.
- 26th November – Launching 2 Exciting Christmas Videos
- 2nd December – Paul is speaking at All Saints Danehill on the subject of Christian parenting. Please pray for his preparation.
- The Foundry – from September 2019, we’re hoping to take on and train interns who can lead the way in digital evangelism.
