Dear Friends,
Much of our time at the moment is consumed with trying to finish as many practical jobs as possible in order to get the building ready for the beginning of the Foundry internship programme in September. This has meant much lifting of heavy objects, discerning what things to keep and what to chuck and definitely too much time spent in stiflingly hot loft space attempting to store away bits we need to keep but want out the way.
As such, our output has been a little lower this week but we still have some bits for you to check out. If you’re looking for some encouragement, why not listen to Paul’s sermon on 1 Corinthians 15 on the topic of the resurrection of the dead. Wonderful encouragement for believer and a challenge to those as yet undecided.
Glen and Paul also found time to record a LIVEcast, where in the wake of Pride month, they discussed whether we have reached peak pride.
In case you missed any of that, we’ve collected all of these resources for you right here!
Coming Up For Speak Life
We’d value your prayers for these upcoming projects and engagements:
- Pray for Glen as he gives 10 talks at St. Stephens Birmingham this weekend.
- Give thanks for a well received sermon from Paul on 1 Corinthians 15.
- Pray for the remaining work that needs to be done on our building/studio to be completed by the time the interns arrive.
- Please continue to pray for accommodation for our interns. We are asking local churches to ask their congregations if anyone can put people up. Pray for people to come forward and for interns to be matched to the right hosts.
- Pray for wisdom as we look ahead and consider the shape of our ministry and output in the light of the Foundry programme and the new interns.
