Dear Friends,
It’s an exciting time for us as this week has seen the release of two new Easter videos. “Unwinnable: The Game That’s True To Life” is a 15 minute documentary looking at the story of the game “That Dragon,Cancer,” a game based on the true life story of Joel Green and his battle with cancer. The documentary looks at the story from the point of view of Joe’s parents, Ryan and Amy, and how their faith carried them through those events.
If 15 minutes is too long for you, why not check out the 4 minute version, “That Dragon, Death,” a condensed version of the documentary which is great for sharing on social media, as well as for use in churches this Easter time.
After Glen’s return from the States, we considered the difference in context between the States and ourselves here in the UK and how they require different ways of thinking when it comes to evangelism. Check out this week’s LIVEcast to hear us Paul and Glen discuss how to reach those who are far from the gospel. Or grab the audio on our podcast.
And do keep praying for and sharing the Speak Life Foundry, our new intern programme starting in September. With building work on our new look studio and teaching spaces well underway, we now need some interns to fill them.
In case you missed any of that, we’ve collected all of these resources for you right here!
Coming Up For Speak Life
We’d value your prayers for these upcoming projects and engagements:
- Our Easter videos – pray that the topic would mean many would watch them and that the Lord would speak to people through them.
- Paul is preaching at the cafe church of All Saints Crowborough on Friday evening – pray for wisdom to know what to say about evangelism.
- The building work at the Speak Life office – pray for a smooth process and for works to run to schedule and budget.
