Andy and Susie Harker in Nairobi say that one of the encouraging signs of God’s work among apprentices has been their different initiatives to get the Bible open with children, youth, small groups and communities. One apprentice in the west of Kenya says, “I have had the privilege of going through the book of Mark with a colleague and it demonstrates amazingly how our saviour swapped his place of glory with ours of filthiness.” Another reported, “We have monthly seminars studying the gospel of Mark and reflecting on how helpless we are on our own, but when we call unto Jesus, he’s merciful to us regardless of our status.”
Evans & Mary Sira-Sira in Siaya have been preaching and teaching at local churches; doing Prayer and Bible Study at the Governor’s office; speaking at the Rae Conference and leading Evangelism in Ndere village.
PRAY the apprentices will not lose their enthusiasm for who Jesus is as they share the good news with others
PRAY for rain to help with the failed harvests, and for Silvia, Caroline and Atieno in Ndere who recently gave their lives to the Lord.
