Noah “found grace” with the LORD and was declared righteous (Genesis 6:8-9). In the drama of the food he played the part of Christ – the Righteous One to whom we must gather if we want to be
saved. But Noah in himself was far from sinless. And even after the world was washed clean, it was clear that his heart remained sinful, just like ours (Genesis 9:21). But hope spreads from Noah’s line, even in spite of such sin. God uses sinners – even sinners who fall spectacularly – and brings about kingdom purposes for His own glory.
PRAISE God that He uses fallible people like Noah, and like you.
PRAY for God to turn even our failures to His own good purposes.
