Genesis 3:15
In the midst of cosmic curses the LORD pronounces our one gospel hope: The Seed of the woman would crush the head of our enemy. There would be a glorious deliverance. But how would it come
about? His own heel would be struck. Victory only through sufering. A crown only through a cross. This promise echoes down through the Bible, but its origins lie here at the very beginning. All true faith has always rested in this gospel of the incarnate Son who would sufer to bring us hope. There has never been any other Saviour and never any other path to salvation – only through His cross.

PRAISE the eternal Son of God for His victory, promised from the beginning. Though it cost Him His life He preferred to die for us than live without us.
