All over America (as in the UK) Christians – from bakers to florists, hoteliers to judges and street preachers, and from adoption agencies to marriage registrars – are seeing an assault on their right to act according to their Christian consciences by the all-powerful LGBT lobby.
But, on March 31st, the Mississippi senate took a giant step forward to stop such attacks and passed a bill protecting Christian business owners from further assaults. Republican backers argued their legislation fixes problems created for people of faith when the Supreme Court ruled for marriage equality last year.
“It gives protection to those in the state who cannot in a good conscience provide services for a same-sex marriage,” Sen.
Jennifer Branning said. The bill states that public employees, social workers and businesses cannot be punished if they
deny services based on their religious belief that marriage can only exist between a man and a woman.

PRAISE God that the Senate has stood up for what is right. Pray that more legislatures will follow suit.
