Genesis 50:15-21
Regrets: I’ve had more than a few, I’m sure you’re the same. What do we do with them? In the story of Joseph we read of a Spirit-filled, beloved son who is horribly sinned against and descends to the pit. Yet God raises him to the throne that he might save the world and forgive his sinful brothers. Who are we in the story? Not righteous Joseph. We are the sinful brothers but Christ forgives us, speaks kindly to us and – wonder of wonders – brings greater good out of our evil.
PRAY your regrets to Jesus knowing that He turns our evil to God.
PRAY for a forward-looking faith that lives beyond regret and moves on in faithful service.
