It’s a strange story with a wonderful conclusion: The bronze serpent is lifted up and salvation comes simply by looking. Jesus says it is just the same today (John 3:14-16). A sore, snake-bitten world is looking for deliverance in all the wrong places but all we need to do is look away from ourselves and look to Jesus – the One lifted up. Have we looked to Christ crucified ourselves? Then, having received salvation, we take on the role of Moses, pointing the world to our one true hope.
PRAY that today you would have opportunity to point others to Christ and say “Look!”
