Hebrews 2:11
Before Jesus tells us not to be ashamed of Him (Mark 8:38) we need to understand this incredible truth from Hebrews 2: He is not ashamed of us. We have given Him every reason to disown
us: our sin; our foolishness; our spiritual dryness. Jesus would have every right to distance Himself from us forever but instead He is proud to call us family. He identifes with us before angels and men – surely we can identify with Him in the world.

PRAY to know Jesus’ incredible and undeserved pride in us.

PRAY that we will be proud of Him before a watching world.
